FAQ







      • Authors are requested to submit their manuscripts in a Microsoft Word format through the journal’s website at http://jumee.kgut.ac.ir. The journal publishes articles in Farsi with an English abstract.












      • No, JUMEE does not charge any fees for article submission, review, or publication. The entire process is free of charge.












      • No, manuscripts submitted to JUEM should not be under review or published in any other journal simultaneously.












      • Manuscripts should be between 7 to 25 pages, excluding the extended English abstract.












      • Manuscripts should be prepared in A4 size with margins of 3 cm (top), 2.5 cm (bottom), 2 cm (left and right). The text should be single-column and all content, including figures and tables, should adhere to the provided guidelines.












      • References should be listed numerically in the order they appear in the text and formatted according to the Numbered style. Examples of reference formatting are provided in the Authors' Guide.












      • Each manuscript should include the following sections: Title, Author Information, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments (if any), References, and an English Abstract.












      • JUEM uses a Single Blind Peer Review process, where the reviewers know the authors' identities, but the authors do not know the reviewers' identities.












      • The initial review period is about 21 days, and the entire peer review process typically takes 2 to 3 months.












      • Authors will receive feedback through the journal’s online system. Reviewers' comments will be provided anonymously as "Reviewer 1", "Reviewer 2", etc.












      • JUEM has a strict anti-plagiarism policy. All submissions are checked for similarity using the Samim Noor system. Manuscripts with high similarity will be rejected outright.












      • Authors' and reviewers' details are kept confidential and only accessible to journal officials until publication.












      • Contact the journal's editorial office to discuss possible corrections. Depending on the nature of the error, an Erratum or Corrigendum may be published.












      • Yes, JUEM is a fully open-access journal. Articles are available to all users immediately upon publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).












      • Authors retain the copyright of their articles, allowing free use, distribution, and creation of derivatives as long as proper attribution is given.












      • Yes, authors are responsible for securing all necessary permissions for any third-party content used in their manuscripts. Written evidence of permissions must be provided upon acceptance of the manuscript.
